  1. Ability to set up staff prompts during assessments. For example, when starting a new assessment, have a prompt appear that reminds the staff to wear mask, or provide some specific instructions on how to complete the assessment.

  2. Allow custom fields to be imported in CSV format using the DIT.

    The HUD CSV spec has a file, Custom.csv, for custom fields. That allows the two organizations to collaborate and create rules for importing custom fields. Right now, Bitfocus only allows XML to import custom fields. For us, it would be easier to import our data in CSV format.

  3. We are looking forward to be able to have report build in, or shared with us to have analysis on HMIS clarity Data Base frequency accessed and used.

    • What features / pages are users accessing the most? What features / pages are users accessing the least?

    • What are the most commonly-accessed and least commonly-accessed Assessments, Programs, and Services?

    • (I know you mentioned we probably can’t get this data, but I’ll include it here anyway as it is often data that web applications store) What platform is the user accessing HMIS using?

  4. Applicable to Programs/shelters with multiple bed inventories/contracts. Since it is possible to create multiple bed inventories and multiple bed services (and/or service items), it would be advantageous to be able to link the specific bed service to the respective bed inventory. Alternatively, if continuing with the reservation model with slots, the ability to link a slot to a specific bed inventory. This would allow for direct analysis of occupancy rates and HIC data in Looker.

  5. One customer's experience with the Results Log in the DIT:
    First, this log includes too much data - this log should only include data that has been updated from the Export File.
    In order to be able to use this data, all individual items included whether client profile, enrollment, etc need to be related to the unique client ID.
    Add a selection parameter /filter the client unique iD and category similar to those in the Rejected Client Log needs to be added to this Results Log to enable a search and display of all of the updated data for a…

The potential exit report (https://get.clarityhs.help/hc/en-us/articles/115002592727--EXIT-101-Potential-Exits) currently does not factor in custom (enrollment-connected) assessments for figuring out whether the client can be exited. It does factor in services; we often use assessments in place for services because services are simply not robust enough. Please consider upgrading this report.

  9. We regularly need to filter services by the staff who completed them. The Service Census (https://get.clarityhs.help/hc/en-us/articles/115002702508--GNRL-103-Service-Census) report includes this information as a drill-down in Web view, but no similar info in Excel - right where we need to filter it. Please either include this in Excel view automatically or as a drilldown format option.

  10. It would be helpful to have a dollar amount column added to the [CLNT-102] Client History report so that TFA expenditures can be reported by client (instead of having to run a GNRL-400 Program Linked Service Review in which all clients in a program are included).

  13. We would like to be able to schedule the Assessment Details report (with certain parameters) in order to get our custom fields out. This would help with the issue of having to publish each individual field to Looker and then building each individual field to a custom report, then scheduling that.

  16. From Customer:

    "Our goal is to create a parallel processor for Vi-SPDAT 1s and 2s to translate the scores, however we would need to add some more complex logic, such as:

    If the sum of (categorical field values) > 4 THEN 1 ELSE 0 , and I imagine that the custom formula is translating these categorical fields into numeric so that they may be summed, or creating complex.

  17. Similar to the way that we can map Program IDs or Service IDs when importing a file with the DIT, it would be helpful to be able to map User IDs so that the user who created a client or enrollment record in another database can be tracked in Clarity by linking to existing Clarity user IDs. Then the user can be associated with the Clarity enrollment rather than the file importer or "Admin" when using the DIT API.

  19. Suggestion to add 'Select' to the picklist for the Program Type (ref_category) field. The response to the field currently defaults to Emergency Shelter - Entry Exit. Users creating new programs may overlook the field when setting up a program and mistakenly create the program as an Emergency Shelter (Entry Exit) then have to go back to the setup page and change the response option to the correct response.
